Sunset Outdoors Warranty Policy
At Sunset Outdoors, we stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our custom fishing rods. We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction and confidence in our products. To provide you with peace of mind, we offer the following warranty on our custom fishing rods:
Five-Year Warranty
All custom fishing rods purchased from Sunset Outdoors are covered by a five-year warranty from the date of purchase. This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and conditions. If your rod fails due to a defect covered by this warranty, we will repair or replace it at no cost to you, excluding shipping costs.
Limited Lifetime Warranty on Select Blanks
In addition to our five-year warranty, some of the rod blanks we use offer a limited lifetime warranty against defects. This warranty is provided by the blank manufacturer and covers defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the rod. Please refer to the specific warranty details provided by the blank manufacturer for more information.
Warranty Coverage Details
What is Covered: Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and conditions.
What is Not Covered: Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, accidents, fire, or unauthorized modifications or repairs. Normal wear and tear, cosmetic damage, and damage from improper care are also not covered.
Original Owner: The warranty is only eligible for the original owner of the rod and is not transferable.
Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for all shipping costs associated with warranty claims. This includes shipping the rod to us for inspection and any return shipping after repairs or replacement.
Product Registration
To activate your warranty, you must register your custom rod within 30 days of purchase. Registration is quick and easy, and it ensures that your rod is covered under our warranty policy. How to Make a Warranty Claim
